Web design process
- Initial Discussion, quote and contract agreement – . We will get into initial contact, preferably in person, to go over the site requirements, the objectives of the site and your overall vision for what you want it to be and how you want it to work. Along with answering any of your question and explaining how the solutions provided will benefit you. A quote will then be generated and if agreeable by you a contract will be made between us
- In-depth discussions – Together we will carefully analyze your requirements and confirm these via on-site meetings, email and telephone as necessary. We will complete a few short surveys to narrow down exactly how you want the site to look like, function and get an idea of the overall feel. Once
- Content delivery and Initial draft. In this stage we’ll begin work on design mockup’s and the underlying structure of the site. You will deliver to us via e-mail the finalized and proofread content, logo’s, images and graphics you wish to have in your web site. Please make sure this content is finalized as we are not a proofreading service, any proofreading needed will come at an extra cost our the hourly rate.
- Project Management – You will be provided a web site address, username and password in which they can login to a special back-end project management section for the web site project, check the status and follow along with its development. You will be able to see the major milestones, to-do’s on the project and get up to date status reports on where we are at with the web site. You will also be able to see screenshots of the progress. In this section we can communicate and send messages to each other to discuss anything related to the project, this is where all project based collaboration will commence.
- Final draft and revisions – A final draft will be submitted to you and put up live on our development servers for you to use. Based on the final draft submission we will make any changes or modifications to the web site you may want.
In a nutshell that is all! The goal is to keep things as simple and straightforward as possible. You give the requirements and together we create something that works best for you and manage all the technical details that you need not bother with.
